Comptroller
The Town of Salina Comptroller's Office includes the Comptroller and two full-time staff responsible for the following:
- Financial record keeping of all Town Funds and Improvement Districts
- Auditing of payments to vendors
- Administering the investments of all Town funds
- Preparation of the payroll and tracking employee benefits for all Town employees
- Preparation of Monthly Reports to the Town Board
- Preparation of the Annual State Comprehensive Financial Report
- In addition to their financial duties, the following services are also provided through the Comptroller's office:
The Comptroller is committed to fiscal responsibility, achieving structured budgetary balance; and maintaining appropriate internal controls to protect the Town's assets.
